“Freely Given!” Why?
“I started writing worship music in high school and shortly after graduating, I completed a six month worship focused Discipleship School with YWAM (Youth With A Mission). I came home with a deep desire to write, record, and freely share the worship music I felt the Lord writing on my heart. Most music now days is offered for a price. We all pay for music either individually or through our subscriptions and if you sing worship songs in your church… those songs are not free either; churches still have to pay royalties to be able to play those songs every single time. I felt very differently about worship music. I felt that it should be freely given as Christ has freely given us. I also felt that everything I have ever written has simply been an outpour of the Scriptures and I often tell people ‘it’s nothing new… it is just a way I worship the Lord in song, through His word…nothing of my own.’ I still feel this way today and pray that in freely giving to you it blesses you as He has blessed me. God has freely given to me many things I am undeserving of, and I want to freely give back to His people, my brothers and sister in Christ!”
